Our Statement of Faith

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2 Peter 1:20

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21

The Bible is the standard of truth.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observer to do according to all that is written therein Josh 1:8

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Luke 21:33

God exists in three Persons, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14.

God was manifest in the flesh I Tim. 3:16.

But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things. John 14:26

I and my Father are one. John 10:38

All people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For as by one man's disobedience many where made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Rom. 5:19

The redemptive work of Jesus Christ has reconciled us to God.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom. 5:10

For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21

And without shedding of blood is no remission. Heb. 9:22

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Heb. 9:14

All must be born again by the Holy Spirit through the hearing of the word of God.

Repent ye, and believe the gospel Mark 1:15

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Rom. 12:2

To open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. Acts 26:18

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

The forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name.

Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them. John 20:23

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17 and Rom. 10:10

We are justified before God by grace through faith.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Believers should walk a holy and a sanctified life.

That ye put off concerning the former conversations [life] the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteous and true holiness. Eph. 4:22-24

Now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light! Eph 5:8

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus, the Lord, so walk ye in him. Col. 2:6

The fruits of justification are good works.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Col. 1:10

Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matt. 7:17,18

Jesus Christ is coming again.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Heb. 9:28

This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:11

There will be a resurrection of both the just and unjust.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Cor. 5:10

Marvel not at this ; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth: they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28.29
